internet highways

what is internet? who invented the internet? whats the first purpose of having it? is it called internet before? is it really necessary to use the internet everyday? who does use the internet often, nowadays? Internet is a reliable source of research and for connection and also entertainment for some people. Some people nowadays use internet for gaming purposes and for social networking. Social networking sites in the internet such as FACEBOOK,TWITTER,MULTIPLY and many social networking sites. Internet is used in online games because the games nowadays requires internet for playing. The first purpose of having the internet was for military purposes. The internet back then was called 
"ARPANET". ARPANET or Internet was used by military back then, for their communication to their other bases. 
The military put their battle strategies and information in the 
ARPANET and send it to their home base or their ally base 
to know their strategies.

 Using the internet everyday is really not necessary, because it is just for use such as research, communication and updates. A little look at the networks and sites are fine, you don't have to be in the online world in 24 hours. The use of internet nowadays has been easy, much younger people get into the online world. At my age for me Internet is a usable source of assignments and for research works. It can also be used as an business purposes and for communicating to other persons. Internet is a usable network that you can rely on. For the younger people who log in too much on the online world, should reduce their being online in the online world. Parents should prevent their children in being online too much. 

Multi Media Arts Family

My name is John Claro V. Labitoria and I'm an MMA (MULTI MEDIA ARTS) student of LPL (Lyceum of the Philippines-Laguna). I chose MMA, because I have this hobby of editing pictures/videos/sounds. I was right to pick this course, because I am enjoying my 5 weeks of learning the course. Even if they are still teaching us some basic skills, I am still being patient, because I want to enhance my editing skills sooner as possible. Yesterday, July 19,2012 1pm we went to the room beside the faculty. The gathering at that time was about our society, the MMA family. We elected our set of officers for our society. They say that, that society is strictly for MMA students only and we will do our own activity even if it is part of the CAS department. I was amazed and inspired when I heard the officers personal background. I heard that our elected president Andrew Abrigo worked with ABS-CBN, and that ispired me a lot.



They say that we shouldn't be bored of  learning the basics, because this is a step-by-step procedure. That phrase made me think and agreed to what they said. No one can become a professional or a well known person if they did not went through the basics, lets say for example Mark Zuckerberg, he wont be able to create the facebook if he didn't learned how to make a program. 
It made me patient about learning the future. Now I research on my own and learning about what we will study about in the future, so I have background on what are we doing and it would be easy for me also. I am ready for the obstacles I might encounter of being a professional Multi Media Artist. I enjoy my MMA family, even though we have the most few students in this course, still its fun being and MMA student. MMA wouldn't be complete and happy if Ms. Anna Kagaoan is not our adviser. I wish I will know better my fellow classmates and my fellow MMA students. 

TEAMWORK!!

What is teamwork? How do we build a teamwork? Can teamwork help us? Can it help us to socialize with people around us? 

Teamwork a work done by several people with each one of them doing a part for the team. It is also the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve some goals Teamwork is often a crucial part of a businesses. It is also necessary for people to work together and trying their best. Teamwork means that people can try to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing feedback, despite of any personal conflict between people. We will be using a team for making teamwork to function. Teamwork needs confidence, cooperation, communication and socializing with the teams. Teamwork can improve our self confidence and cooperation with people, and also interacting with many people. Yes it can, because communication is one of the characteristics needed in such teamwork. If we don't cooperate with the team we might be the cause of loosing their chance of winning. Teamwork are often used in games and businesses.

If you don't cooperate in the team, eventually you might loss what you are fighting for. In games, teamwork is really required for playing especially basketball, football and different kinds of sports, because teamwork will lead you until the end.

 Also in my case, playing DOTA needs teamwork and strategy in playing it. Teamwork cannot function if there is no leader to guide them what to do. Team can't just act by their own, it might look messy. A good teamwork depends on the leader and also in his subordinates. The leader of the team must have a high leadership skills to be a leader,because if the leader is not good the subordinates will not listen to the leader. Being a member in a team is fun, you do some things together and enjoying it. 

If you are in a team just follow what the leader says. 

If you don't have a team, go OUT THERE AND FORM ONE!

Technologies nowadays

What was communication like, in the early days? How did technology came into our life? When technology came in our life, what happened to our society? Has technology changed us for the good or bad? Can we still communicate like in the past days, even though now that technology is available?

Communication in the early days, before technologies were invented. Communicating to people everyday is what they always do. Man in the past years, while courting a woman, they communicate in the woman's house, with the parents approval, letting the man court their child? That is how useful communication was in the early days. Technologies were never meant to be invented, thus they were discovered. Technologies were used and created for war, the more technologies they have the high chances of winning. After the wars technology was been used for communicating to people, only the military has technology, back then, because they use it to communicate with their enemies. Now that has the war passed, technology has been available to every people. Technology was improving as time pass by. 

Cellphones, computers, internet, cars, television, motorcycles and many more that people use everyday. Technology change the way people live. Technology made things get easy for people to use. 

Now that technologies are available, and people can access it easily. Many people in the old generations, when they have limited technologies, are jealous in our generation, because we are so lucky to have this technologies in our times. They are jealous of us because, we have many technologies, and still we are lazy to do homework and research even though its just easy. Now that technology are advanced, people are communicating through, they called 

"FACEBOOK". Facebook is a social networking sites for people across the globe. People nowadays are courting through Facebook, and having a relationship through it. I think technologies changed us for the bad, because they made it easy for people to handle, for example, research just a click on the internet and there goes it, they don't even use books as a reference anymore, even if they did I think its only few of them. We still can communicate like the old times, even though technologies are available. We can socialize even there's no INTERNET, we just have to go outside our house.
