Baroque art

Baroque art has a 5 elements that are a major concern on this era, Motion, Space, Time, Use of Light, Drama or Theatrical. These elements are mostly seen in their artworks on these era. Baroque arts are mostly paintings that depicts movements, mostly examples are war look like. The paintings in these era are surely hard to make, because it is detailed and the people in the paintings are many. But most of their artworks has a theatrical and drama look. The movement looks of the painting gave it more depth and reality look. Also the shadow that has been made in it. The position of the light is diagonally, so most likely of the paintings are diagonally in shadows. Also their painting usually symbolizes things, for example are the mirror, animals, trees, windows and etc.

This period of art is also relevant to the present expression of art, for its 5 elements the Motion, Space, Time, Use of Light, Drama or Theatrical. The usage of light and also its time, but the the use of light is the mostly used. Motion in paintings is also important also the space. Painters on these time usually use this elements in their artworks. But nowadays they enhanced the way they use this elements. The use of these elements gives the art more depth and realism look. If these elements are not applied in some artworks, it would look like just an ordinary artwork.

I can also use their style in making paintings and artworks, by applying these elements on my artwork. My work will look more beautiful and real look if applied these style and improvise it with my own style. I will not only apply the method on this era but also apply everything that I learn so it would look beautiful. I will motivate myself in making artworks with the use of these styles and elements.

Renaissance art

Renaissance art most striking characteristics are Humanism. They are perfected the looks of the human beings. Mostly their artworks are based on what's happening. What you see in the painting is the painter's point of view, from where he stands and make his/her artwork. These artworks are mostly oil in canvas, it is a painting that are huge. They mostly detailed the human, what they wear, they're looks, they're gestures and etc. The painter's of these era, are mostly known and very famous, for example is Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael Sanzio. They are well known for their painting and other artworks. Also there are still many artist in these era who made wonderful artwork, but I think they made few artworks only, that's why they are not popular.

The expression of art today is relevant to these era, because of humanism. Many people are still perfecting humanism, the details of the faces. But today they are not using anymore oil on canvas, mostly they use pencil. They are sketching the people whom they want to sketch and draw.
Some tried to use pointillism in their works of art according to humanism. The work that has been made through pointillism came out successful. Pointillism is a method of art where they look like a painting in far distance, but if you look closely and carefully, you will see that it is only made up of tiny little dots. Also people are doing humanism in 3D art, they put the details in it so it would look really real.

The influence that renaissance period gave me is humanism, the way that how should I apply it. If I use humanism style, my artwork would look real and people might love it, the way they liked the artworks from the era of renaissance. I should practice more the way I use humanism style, because I'm not that good at it. Even though I may not really perfect humanism style, at least I learned how to do it, it is knowledge for me. I know that it is hard to use this method, but if I am willing to do it, it will not be that hard as long as I am motivated.

Christian Art

Christian Art, in this era of art, the arts are related to Christianity and God. This is the era of Christianity being held and dominating the world of art. Though in this era, still the Greek art architectures and artistry are still applied in some creation in these era. For example are the structure of architecture, the doric orders that are applied in some churches. Most of the architecture from this era, was mostly churches. Many churches was built in the city of Rome than the city of Greece. I see that in this era, painting are not that popular, but images in clothes are, the images in the cloths are weaved by weavers in Early Christian Art era. Many people find the arts in this era, amusing 'cause many people are catholic, so they are fascinated by these work of arts. Christianity back then are not legal, until Constantine legalized it.

According from what I have researched about this era, that back then, when Christianity was not legal. Christians cannot make a symbol of a cross directly, so they made a representation of a cross, a two fish that has a pattern of a cross. In this kind of way, they will not be punish 'cause they will not think it was a cross, but if you will look closely you will see the pattern. But after Constantine's law of making Christianity legal, they made cross directly, symbolizing God. In these era the Bible was created and it is said to be it is created by four evangelists named John, Matthew, Luke, Mark. The sculptures in this era are most likely carved from wood and it is on a wall, where you can only have one view of it, in front.

The predominant styles in this era is good, most of it are related to Christianity and religion. The subject matter on this era was all about Christianity and religion, their God and their beliefs. I think it has a few influence on me, because I do not use much of their predominant style. I only use their style if I am required to use and do it. I am not saying that I do not like Christianity, I am a Christian also, and I believe in what they believed. It doesn't mean that if your a Christian artist, you'll use the Christian Art's predominant style and figures.

Ancient and Classical Arts

The most striking impression for me is from how it evolve, from ancient art to classical arts. Ancient arts are the first arts and styles that are performed and used. Mostly, the arts that are created in Ancient arts, are not done and created representing as Art, but representing as their communications. The cave paintings that are available int the ancient arts era. The Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic age, but before all that, it started first with the Stone age. Classical arts, particularly Greece and Rome, the sculptures that are made in Greece that are famous. That Greeks first used geometric figures and patterns in painting and making arts and sculptures. The history of Ancient Greek paintings, the vases, sculptures, arts and their beliefs in their own gods and goddesses. The Greeks believed that the human beings is the center of the universe, the "measure of all things". Also the different stages and period that came over Greece.

I believe that these two great eras made allot of influence on my artistic styles as an artist. I can't draw anything if these eras were never been born and discovered. In Classical arts: Greece and Rome, I learned that the geometric figures that I used sometimes came from these era. If geometric figures were not born and discovered in these era, many artist might be stuck on the era of the Ancient art the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic ages. Artists should know that, they owe their artistic style from these two eras, the Ancient and Classical arts. The predominant artistic style that interests me in the Ancient arts is the cave paintings, that they drew it according from exactly what happened that day, for others to know. These cave paintings is extraordinary, because caveman used it also as a communication. While from the Classical arts: Greece and Rome, I am interested in the sculptures and vase paintings that are made in that era. The sculptures that are famous now, and vases that lived centuries. The detailed sculptures that was carved from bronze and architectures of the Greeks.

Somehow I think that it would be possible to create artworks inspired by these two eras. From the Ancient arts era, it would be just like painting simply and not that good, because you don't need a good painting, because it is based from what happened, you don't need the details of your painting. It can be done easily by just stroking the brush and thinking what your gonna paint. While in the Classical arts: Greece and Rome, it can be done easily also by just drawing some vase and putting some styles in the vase by using geometric figures. Geometric figures are used in these era, so it will be use if these will be the theme of your artwork. Making geometric shapes and figures will be known and understood that the theme of the art might be based on the classical arts on Greece and Rome. Though your art will not look that good if you don't understand these Ancient Arts and its history, unless you know it. You also need to be inspired in making these kinds of arts, and not only physically but emotionally. You need to feel what you are doing, its like your expressing and foreseeing back from these era, when you create certain arts.
